Have you seen our new site? It’s a beauty! Tune in and hear about the processes we went through to create our fresh new look.
Since the second iteration of our website went live in early 2011, Grovelands has changed and developed as a business. In fact we’ve literally grown arms and legs, as our total team across all our offices is now 70-strong.
Over the last year we’ve made tweaks to the site content, refreshed the design, and added new sections to reflect our expanding business areas. However, the time quickly came when our website no longer accurately reflected our brand, so we decided to take the plunge and build a brand new one.
We started working with digital marketing agency zero G media about 4 months ago, discussing ideas and starting to map out the features of the site. After signing off the wireframes, it was time for the exciting part – the design.
zero G came up with several design concepts and it didn’t take us long to choose the one we found most striking and the most different from our existing site. It was of course still in keeping with our brand look, using the Grovelands colour palette and layout styles. Once we’d signed off the design phase, that was the easy part done and it was now down to zero G to build, develop and test the new site.
Once the build was complete, we populated the site with our new content, ensured our jobs, blog posts and team information was up-to-date and learnt how to use the new functionality in WordPress, our content management system.
The site finally went live on 28th February 2013 and we’re very pleased with the results. I’m sure you’ll agree it’s a vast improvement on the previous version and that we’ve managed to effectively convey our professional brand as well as the unique personality of our business.
